thinkpad笔记本中的tpm安全芯片可以与指纹识别模块一起使用，普通笔记本中的指纹识别技术一般是把指纹验证信息储存在硬盘中，而thinkpad中的tpm安全芯片则是直接将指纹识别信息置于安全芯片中。一旦遭到暴力破解，安全芯片就启动自毀功能，这样保证了您的个人信息资料不会泄密。安全芯片通过lpc总线下的系统管理总线来与处理器进行通信，安全芯片的密码数据只能输入而不能输出。即关键的密码加密与解密的运算将在安全芯片内完成，而只将结果输出到上层。tpm安全芯片和笔记本上的指纹识别模块搭配能达到高的安全级别，即便是在无尘实验室对磁盘进行暴力拆解，也无法获得有效信息。tpm安全芯片首先验证当前底层固件的完整性，如正确则完成正常的系统初始化，然后由底层固件依次验证bios和操作系统完整性，如正确则正常运行操作系统，否则停止运行。之后，利用tpm安全芯片内置的加密模块生成系统中的各种密钥，对应用模块进行加密和解密，向上提供安全通信接口，以保证上层应用模块的安全。
tpm会按照整个系统及应用软件栈的装载顺序来监视装载到计算平台上的系统软件及所有应用软件，tpm采用哈希扩展算法，以哈希值特征的形式来存储所有能够被平台装载的全部软件。例如，在x86平台运行过程中，从机器加电启动开始，tpm将按照如下的顺序监视软硬件系统及应用软件栈的装载过程：bios、mbr、os装载器、os、用户应用程序1-n. tpm将计算平台上的整个软件链的哈希值进行记录，之后就能够把该平台上的软件加载状况向管理中心报告。tpm可以对每个报告进行数字签名，确保报告的真实性。
随着安全形势的越来越严峻，目前国内外越来越重视安全芯片的研制，主要分为国外的tpm和国内的tcm两大阵营，tpm(trusted platform module)标准的芯片从要求上首先必须具有产生加、解密密钥功能，还必须能够进行高速的资料加、解密。在我国为避免影响国家战略安全的核心技术控制在某些国家手中，我国也在同步进行可信计算平台的研究和部署工作。其中，部署可信计算体系中，密码技术是重要的核心技术。2010年阿桑奇和他的“维基解密”几乎成为所有政府和企业的梦魇。各种“爆料”犹如一个个重磅炸弹，以致于整个世界引起轩然大波, 美国的安全防范级别几乎是世界范围内密集程度和技术含量高的，但阿桑奇却用实际行动证明其并非见不可破!由此可见，数据泄密是没有真空领域的。

传感器网络的电源管理采用动态功率管理模式是降低系统耗能的有效设计方法。动态功率管理是一种有效地能够在降低系统功率消耗而不影响系统性能的办法。基本的思想就是传感器节点内部各个设备在不需要时关闭，而在需要时唤醒。从而可以使传感器适时进入相应的低功耗模式，降低总体能量消耗。动态功率管理技术适用的基本前提是，系统元件在工作时间内有着不相同的工作量，大多数的系统都具有此种情况。另一个前提是，可以在一定程度上确信能够预知系统、元件的工作量的波动性。这样才有转换耗能状态的可能，并且，在对工作量的观察和预知的时间内，系统不可以消耗过多的能量
。在传感器网络中，构成传感器节点的各个模块有不同的功率状态，因而，电源管理采用动态功率管理是比较合适的。动态功率管理系统中，不同元件的工作状态要动态地适应不同程度的性能要求，只有这样才能小化空闲时间浪费的能量或者无用元件浪费的能量。对于电源管理实施时间的判断，要用到动态预知方法，根据历史的工作量预测即将到来的工作量，决定是否转换工作状态和何时唤醒。
节点定位机制是指依靠有限的位置已知节点，确定布设区中其他节点的位置，在传感器节点间建立起空间关系的机制。在大多数情况下，只有结合位置信息，传感器网络获取的数据才有实际意义。另外，对蓝牙传感器网络协议的研究也要利用节点的位置信息。在网络层，因为蓝牙传感器网络节点无全局标志，设计了基于节点位置信息的路由算法；在应用层，根据节点位置，蓝牙传感器网络系统可以智能地选择一些特定的节点来完成任务，从而降低整个系统的能耗，提高系统的存活时间。
由于设计的蓝牙传感器网络系统中各个传感器节点位置固定，可以采用基于测距的节点定位机制。通过测量节点问点到点的距离，使用大似然估计法计算节点位置。基于测距定位机制要求2个节点具有测量相互间距离的能力。采用了tdoa(time difference0n arrival)：测距技术。在节点上安装超声波收发器和蓝牙收发器。测距时，在发射端，2种收发器同时发射信号，利用声波与电磁波在空气中传播速度的巨大差异在接收端通过记录2种不同信号到达时间的差异，基于已知信号传播速度，直接把时间转换为距离。该技术的测距精度可达到厘米级，但受限于超声波传播距离有限和非视距(nlos)问题对超声波信号的传播影响。
无线传感器网络(wsns)是由大量无处不在的，具有通信与计算能力的微小传感器节点密集分布在无人值守的监控区域而构成的能够根据环境自主完成指定任务的“智能”自治测控网络系统。如果说因特网改变了人与人之间交流、沟通的方式，那么，wsns则将逻辑上的信息世界与真实物理世界融合在一起，将改变人与自然交互的方式。为此，2003年，mit技术评论在预测未来技术发展的报告中，将其列为改变世界的十大新兴技术。
蓝牙是一种短距无线通信的技术规范。由于蓝牙具有工作在2.4 ghz的ism(industrial，scientific and medi-cal)频段；可以同时传输语音和数据；有很好的抗干扰能力和低功耗等特点。采用蓝牙技术构建由固定传感器节点组成的蓝牙传感器网络，是无线传感器领域内一个新兴的研究方向，可以在一些特殊的场合实现信息的采集、处理和发送。
两个新的竞争者进入了高精度存储器舞台。快速周期随机存取存储器(fcram)改进了性能，它采用了流水线操作和隐蔽的预充电技术以减少随机存取周期时间，高度分段的存储器核减少了功耗。存储器核分段为较小的阵列，这样数据可以被很快地存取并改进执行时间。这些特征使得fcram被理想地用作缓冲存储器，用于诸如交换、路由和网络服务器等的高速网络应用中。时延减少的dram(rldram)提供sram类型的接口以及非多路复用的寻址。rldram ii技术提供小时延并可减少行周期时间，这些特征很适用于要求关键响应时间和快速随机存取的应用，例如下一代10gbps以及更加高速的网络应用。网络和通信应用需要大的、快速存储器，完成从小的地址查找到流量修整/监控再到缓冲器管理等各种任务。用于消费应用的价格便宜、成熟的fmp和edo dram通常不适用，因为它采用了较慢的异步方式，且需要时序的命令信号来初始化数据转移。网络系统架构师一般转向采用静态ram，解决时延问题，但这导致较高的成本。通过去除读和写周期间的等待状态和空闲周期，zbt sram被广泛地用于改进存储器带宽。近，系统架构师在网络基础设施应用中转向使用sdram，以便减少时延、满足低成本要求。上述任务的每一个都伴随一组独特的需求。例如，低的和中等带宽的应用要求低时延的存储器，因此zbt sram是理想的。
